Upon written confirmation of clean criminal record by FIU, and also for that reason "pre-approval" provided, Candidate, under advice of the DSP agent completes all paperwork as well as prepares complete payment. Payment is made directly to the Vanuatu Info Centre Limited, a Government Authorized Representative.

Application is submitted to agent to evaluate pre-submission to the Citizenship Commission which assembles on the last Friday every month. Application Form need to be obtained 8 days before Citizenship Committee conference.

Testing Committee takes into consideration the Application few days before the Citizenship Commission meets and also makes a suggestion to the Citizenship Commission.

After Citizenship Commission accepts the Application, an Agreement in Principle (AIP) is provided to the Agent. AIP process takes one to two week.

The last step is the Applicant taking their Oath. This will be appointed by the Vanuatu Government's Commissioner of Oath. In this ceremony the new Citizen obtain their Certification of Vanuatu Citizenship as well as their new Vanuatu Passport.

In this ceremony the new Citizen receives their Certificate of Vanuatu Citizenship as well as their new Vanuatu Passport.
From Jun 2020 you can also pick up the Passport in the new Vanuatu Consulate in Athen, Greece. Our President from GCI is the new Consul of Republic of Vanuatu.
